Moving an employee between legal entities — say, from US Inc to UK Ltd — is operationally as complex as a termination and a new hire happening simultaneously.
The problem is that most HR systems treat it as two disconnected actions. Payroll, benefits, equity, and compliance all need to move together, but there’s no structured workflow to guide HR teams through the process or flag what can’t be automatically migrated. My proposal: a guided entity transfer workflow inside HiBob that breaks the process into clear stages (initiate, review, execute, confirm), surfaces conflicts before they cause problems, and provides a live status view throughout. The prototype below is built in HiBob’s own design system.
